It’s fun to draw on nontraditional surfaces. I first realized this in fourth grade, using waterproof markers to draw animals on all my classmates’ desks. I’m old, so the desks were made of well-worn oak. I loved the results; my teacher did not… so I spent every recess period for the rest of the year, sandpaper in hand, scrubbing my artwork away.
